Does Wealth Mean Better Health?
Are the rich healthier than the poor?
Enjoying: Dear Friend, Your Health Trumps Riches and Wealth by Nancy Anderson
She said, “The wealthiest person on Earth is a healthy person.” Nancy Anderson
These words are valid, but can be misunderstood without common sense and deep thinking.
At first, my insanity thought it meant that the wealthiest people are the healthiest because they have access to the best doctors and unlimited resources to save their lives, unlike the poor.
But my common sense demands I go deeper. She is saying that your material possessions shouldn’t determine your wealth; your health should.
Bottom line, your money isn’t really your wealth; it’s your health that makes you wealthy. So if you are healthy and prosperous, then you are the most affluent among them all.
These words, though true and do make sense, are useless to most humans. Common sense asks, ‘Why have all that money and aren’t healthy enough to enjoy it?’
