Quick thoughts:

— Hotel room for Solid Sound is booked. I can’t tell the internetz exactly where because the stalkers will surely show up at my door, but let’s just say I jumped in the game a little too late to get anything conveniently located or affordable.

— Still seeking a partner in crime and hotel-room-splitter for the festival. Facebook tells me that a whole eight friends like Wilco, which sounds really promising until you factor in that six of those friends live quite far away, one’s a co-worker, and one isn’t sure she’ll be in the area this summer (depends on where the internship winds take her, though she said she’s interested if she’s around). I have four months. Plenty of time, right?

— This little outing is still going to make a major dent in my budget, so until June 24, a concert freeze is in effect. Unless, of course, Neil Young swings by. Don’t worry, I’ll still have plenty of music-y thoughts to ramble about.

— Realized today that a disproportionate number of my favorite songs involve sunset imagery. I’m sure this isn’t coincidental, considering my #3 or #4 hobby is sitting on the balcony and taking pictures of sunsets.
