**and really, really can’t get into Arcade Fire, no matter how much I’ve tried over the years, ever since Funeral was in heavy rotation at my college radio station. Sacrilege.
On a happier, more agreeable, and altogether more hip note… I am in total agreement with the inclusion of four on here: Sharon Van Etten, jj, Beach House (side note: please tell me their NYC show isn’t actually sold out yet), and Vampire Weekend.
