Music connecting people who medically can’t be near one another

Before I get into what I’m sharing here, I just want assure you that I will absolutely start posting about my own music-making process and give everyone a behind the scenes look as I kick off this new music project. I’m currently fighting a cold, which is making it impossible to record anything since my throat is totally shot (and I’ve learnt from my own experience that resting your throat is insanely important if you’re a singer and you get sick–perhaps I’ll share that story another time). The moment I have the cold out of my system, I will start documenting and sharing my journey. But now, without further adieu…

A good friend of my wife read my first post explaining why I’m here, rambling on about this music project I’m calling Sterling Change. Soon after, she shared a video with me via Facebook mentioning how it connected with my goal of making real human connections with my music.

I’m not going to analyse the video or get deep into my thoughts on it. If you’re willing to read my first post, I think the connection is clear. So, watch this a feel warm and fuzzy about the goodness of humanity:

P.S. If anyone else comes across content like this, please share it with me. Seriously, this video is amazing and I want to share anything you come across that supports my mission with this project. The best way to reach me would be to direct message me on Instagram @sterlingchange
