A single ray of life
In the turmoil of change
Holds on to vibrantance
While everything else has gone dull
Perhaps reflecting the world,
Politics askew,
People fading-but still holding on
A year that seems meant
To tangle and choke
Fails due to rebellious spirit,
too many causes,
But a lifetime to solve them
