The Mixer

Last week I put my things in my hard and just headed to California. It was a big random but I know it’s something I needed to do.

Now I know why.

Today I was able to go to the “Silicon Beach” mixer to meet all kind of people at a meetup. I networked with all kinds of individuals. During my time there, I also made a friend that will also be in San Fransico tomorrow. He invited me to a house party.

So you might be wondering why I’m mentioning this.

For me, every person I come in contact with represents a flutter of a butterfly’s wings in my existence. They represent possibilities that would have never existed without them. Just like they effect my total destiny, I play an important role in their life as well.

I knew leaving Utah would yield opportunity but it’s action that creates the growth. Opportunity is like a seed while the action is the hypothetical soil, water, and the sunshine. Without cultivation, an opportunity will lay dormant, potential left as a seed. With action, it grows into a mighty oak.

I’m excited to see what the future will bring. I’ve met some amazing people on my trip so far and can’t wait to continue my journey forward.
