The career counselor said, “Get a job as a speed-bump.”

So I did.

All yellow: clothes, shoes, face-paint.

Assumed the parking-lot position.

Cars slowed. Drivers yelled GET OUT OF THE STREET as they gingerly drove around me.

I was doing a great job until a guy dressed as a FedEx truck ran over my spleen.
