Stipop Year in Review — Highlights of 2020
Well, it was a year of tremendous changes. The unforgettable year 2020 is just ending. Meaning… it’s almost the new year!
Especially this year, we feel super lucky to have so many artists joining us on board. The number of artists who joined has almost doubled in the past year.
We are so happy that you became a part of our platform. Please continue to be with us next year as well. Looking back upon this year, we’re sharing some highlights of 2020!
Notable sticker packs of the year
Animal stickers like dogs, cats, rabbits, bears… and even Siberian Lizard’s ferrets were very popular this year. The previous year was actually the same — many sticker fans search for animals on Stipop app because they want to find specific animal stickers they like.
A number of web toon readers were happy to see The Kao’s sticker pack Mondo Mango Starter Pack released. Banana Peelings stickers of itscathywu were well received because of the message and meaning inside of each sticker.
Hot keywords of the year
Sticker fans love to show their feelings with stickers. It’s easier and more expressive. Stickers with keywords like laugh, clap, smile and hungry were one of the most used keywords.
As the demand of work-from-home and online work communication increases, many people need some stickers to use when they chat with their colleagues or talk about work-related things. See more keywords below and consider to add them on your stickers next time!
Limelight artists of the year
So many talents and creatives are actively meeting their fans with their stickers on Stipop. It’s even more amazing to see how artists always seek to satisfy fans by granting what fans want.
Reward system
One more thing to share, August this year was our first trial month to give rewards to outstanding artists each month. Our content team carefully decided who to receive at the end of every month based on the monthly artist performance review (downloads, keyword search, planning ability, promotional capability, and usability).
Top performance reward, top advanced ranker, remarkable stickers reward, global user reward, spooky halloween reward, on point reward, and prime participation reward…
Eventually, 107 artists had a chance to receive small and large rewards. We are going to continue the reward system so hopefully you are the next rewardee of January 2021!
