The future of music

Is it written in the pages of time that music will repeat itself as fashion has done over the decades? Have we written every love song, played every progression and tried every combination of instruments? I think about the next big song, is it going to be country, hip-hop, metal and is it going to be something we never heard before.

We are so caught up with being original and trying to find what hasn’t been found that we forget that the same notes we learned to love in the past exist in the present. So it’s been 6 years, going on 7, since I decided to dabble in the entertainment industry. I was fed up with how musicians were being treated, being farmed for their art, and how they would take ones art and filter it to another musician who would eventually would become a mega super star. Now that’s an interesting point to me, 30 years ago the term was famous or a star and then a couple decades later it was “Super Star” and now it’s “Mega Star” and so on. Excuse my rant but as I was saying — to find originality in musicians today is like getting hit by lightning and when you do find it you’re competing with artist who literally are fed original art from other artist. It’s a vicious cycle the major labels have created and we have to live in it.

I was fed up with how musicians were being treated, being farmed for their art…..

It’s time for a revolution……….
