Wikileaks Editor in Chief Julian Assange’s internet link severed
“Julian Assange’s internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party. We have activated the appropriate contingency plans.” — Wikileaks
Earlier today Wikileaks made this announcement — Julian Assange has been living under Political Asylum at the Ecuadorian Embassy, in London since 2012.
During the US Presidential Election this year, Wikileaks has been accused of working for foreign interests, namely the Russian Government; some are saying that due to the majority of the content being “anti DNC” or Hillary Clinton focussed, it does seem to many people that Wikileaks is either wanting Donald Trump to win, or are possibly trying to influence the election.
It is a great shame that they have this huge loss of credibility in the public’s eyes, as they have done a lot of great work in the past.
On the 3rd of October this year, Assange was supposed to have a “balcony appearance” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Wikileaks’ founding. Due to security concerns, Wikileaks cancelled this highly anticipated event.
This was rumoured to be the October Surprise leak which possibly had to do with Hillary Clinton again, as much of the leaks have done so far this year.
On Fox News a few weeks earlier, Julian Assange had said “that WikiLeaks would soon publish more damaging documents which could ruin Clinton’s chances of becoming the next US president.”
The DNC has repeatedly accused Wikileaks of being Biased, and possibly acting under Russian influence or control. Vice President Joe Biden and the CIA last week both made vague threats about “Cyber War” on Russian Hackers and potential cyber warfare units. This could be related, but seems to be a straight cut off rather than a hacking or leak of Wikileaks own internal documents.
The DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned over a huge Democratic National committee hack which exposed her role in “rigging” or targeting Hillary Clinton’s rival Bernie Sanders.
“We’re not going to start censoring our publications because there is a US election. Our role is to publish. Clinton has been in government so we have much more to publish on Clinton,” Assange, interviewed on Der Spiegel
The last major leak was called the Podesta Files by Wikileaks, and it contained some interesting documents, for me the most strange and possibly incredible is that;
Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar D. ETI = Extra Terrestrial Intelligence, Zero Point Energy is some sort of Alien Technology that he is trying to describe. Edgar D. Mitchell died in February of this year.
