Advanced Search
Search is finally here for healthcare! For healthcare teams, finding information when and where you need it is notoriously hard. Whether it’s discussions about patient records, medication changes, or appointment updates, historical conversation is too often lost in the myriad of information flowing to and from providers.
That’s why today we’re excited to announce the release of Advanced Search in Stitch. Stitch implements full search in every conversation, so you can easily find anything you need.
Typing a keyword or series of keywords like “medication” or “medication change” will show search results for matches across all conversations in rooms and direct messages. Mousing over a search result lets you automatically jump to messages in chat history so you can easily reference the context of any results.
Beyond this, we bring to the table several advanced modifiers. Here’s how they work:
Queries
A. Search medication changes
to find messages with ‘medication’ or ‘changes’ in them.
B. Search “medication changes”
to find messages with instances of only ‘medication’ and ‘changes’ next to each other.
C. Search sprain
to find messages that contain the word ‘sprain’, but also ones that include ‘sprains’, ‘spraining’, and ‘sprained’.
D. Search allerg*
to find messages that contain the words ‘allergy’ or ‘allergic’.
E. Search emergency -room
to find messages with the word ‘emergency’ but not the word ‘room’.
Room Modifiers
A. Search in:Emergency Room
to find messages in the Emergency Room
B. Search in:James Adams, Rachel Johnson
to find messages in the direct message with James Adams and Rachel Johnson
People Modifiers
A. Search to:James Adams
to find messages sent to James Adams
B. Search from:Rachel Johnson
to find messages from Rachel Johnson.
Time Modifiers
A. Search before:[date]
to find messages or files before a specified date.
B. Search after:[date]
to find messages and files after a specified date.
C. Search on:[date]
to find messages and files on a specific date.
