When you’re setting up a stitch account, you probably already have a spreadsheet that you’re hoping to upload. To do that, we just need it as a slight different file type — a CSV. To get a CSV of your spreadsheet is no more complicated than saving as a PDF.

Here are the steps to do it:

For Excel

All you need to do is:

  1. Open the doc you want
  2. Go to File > Save As…
  3. Pick the “CSV (comma delimited)” Format
  4. Upload to stitch!

For Google Sheets

Doing it from a Google Sheet is super easy as well!

  1. Open the doc you want
  2. Go to File > Download As…
  3. Pick the “Comma Separated Values (csv)”
  4. Upload to stitch!

And that’s it. If you hit any problems or you’d like some help just email team@stitchapp.co
