Man City Will Win the Premier League Title Race
As a Liverpool fan, it pains me to say it, but Manchester City is en route to clinching back-to-back Premier League titles.
Since dropping to second place in December, Man City have been on a tear. Winning eight of their last nine games, they have reclaimed the first place spot in the most competitive domestic league in Europe. After a dominant win over Bournemouth this past weekend, they are showing no signs of slowing down.
Their main competitor on the other hand, has not been so hot. With four of their last nine games resulting in draws, and a crucial loss to Man City, Liverpool has dropped to second place at a pivotal point in the season. This combined with injuries to their some of their key starters all but ensures another Premier League title for Man City.
Man City has had its own fair share of injuries to deal with including a lingering hamstring issue for star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. But they have been more resilient than Liverpool in overcoming the inevitable injuries that occur during a long season. Now, thanks to the genius that is Pep Guardiola, an unstoppable front three, and lights out defense, Man City is well on its way to winning the Premier League once again this season.
