James “The Beard” Harden is en route to becoming the 2019 NBA MVP.

There has been much talk about who will be the next MVP. Paul George is having a great season alongside with Westbrook, with George averaging 28.7 points and Westbrook 22.5 points per game.

Giannis is becoming a superstar, going hard in the paint with 12.7 rebounds and 27.2 points per game. The big man down low is averaging the around same amount of points as Paul George. Although it would be amazing to witness two players share MVP, those chances are slim because there can only be one.

The last person who had a shooting average this good was Michael Jordan and the ’86-’87 Chicago Bulls where Jordan scored 37.1 points per game. Harden’s streak ended is also making history with 30 points in a 32 game streak. Putting him second, in NBA history behind Wilt Chamberlain, with 65 games averaging 30 points.

The Houston Rockets star is averaging 36.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game. Harden is tackling every team one at a time, to deserve a spot in the Western Conference Playoffs shooting 44% from the field and 37% from behind the three. James Harden’s performance is leading him to become back-to-back Most Valuable Player.
