It’s not the critic who counts !

There are two kinds of people in this world — the makers and the critics. Critics and their work is important and needed. But it’s the makers who make a country. They’re the ones who change things, the ones who are not afraid of taking bold steps and execute their vision. Critics, on the other hand, owe their existence to the work done by makers. At best, the critics can point flaws to the work done my makers and help improve its effectiveness. At worst, they slow down the pace of change.

It’s easy to point fingers at someone. It’s insanely hard to create, to execute, to bring a new idea to life. That’s why if life gives you an option to choose — be a Maker.

A maker holds the power to give birth to thousand critics, not the other way round.

And if you’re already a maker: cheer, because you’re the one who count. You’re the one history books are written about, and folk tales made.

To end, I remember a great quote by Theodore Roosevelt, which I had read many years ago but is as relevant today as it was then:
