As hot as New York City can get during the summer, some of the most fun things to do require being outside. To help our members cool off, Stoop’s most recent event aimed to keep members and friends refreshed and social at the Manhattan Community Boathouse. They offer free kayaking along New York’s iconic skyline, and we had been eager to add it to our list of community events.

Stoop made a splash at Pier 96 while enjoying a beautiful day on the water, followed by a picnic and interacting with young professionals from all over New York. From students, to lawyers, dancers, artists, models and activists, Stoop really does welcome all.

Discovering how members have found our service was the best part. From referring friends, an honest review and a quick Google search, we find great value in expanding our network and connecting to a broader audience.

Finding roommates and fully enjoyable living accommodations in New York City is far from easy. What makes Stoop unique is that we offer and connect you with both. We believe that your rental should not stop you from getting the best out of this urban jungle. With helpful features like our virtual tours to give you the assurance of finding your next home to curated experiences, Stoop offers far more than a rental.

Thank you to the Stoop members that attended! We enjoyed meeting tenants and new friends over the weekend in a casual setting. There are more events planned in the future and we are excited to see the continued growth of our Stoop community.

Suffering from FOMO? If you couldn’t make it to the Hudson, there is plenty of time to add kayaking your things to do. Kayaking is available in these locations all summer long.

Missed the Stoop Community event? No worries — there are many more curated events planned ahead.
