Event Recap: Paint & Sip
How do you see color? How do you see New York City? These two questions have limitless answers, as every individual sees things differently. While people may have similar views or answers, no two ‘answers’ will be identical.

The Stoop Community is a melting pot of like-minded people. Collectively, we thrive to create a productive working and living environment for our members.
We believe your living accommodation should go beyond a rental. It is what makes these events, and Stoop, so special. Stoop connects people with over 300 residences in New York City. We enjoy introducing members and help form friendships that last beyond your stay.
At Stoop’s very first community event, “Paint and Sip,” we took this idea a step further. Tapping into each member’s creativity, residents met their neighbors in Ridgewood, Queens, had a good time, and walked away with their very own masterpieces.
It was incredible to be led by an artist who took the participants step by step in creating their paintings. The best part was seeing everyone’s different points of view displayed in 22 different works of art with a common theme — Central Park. The globally recognized landmark was an easy choice for the picture that participants painted.

The most amazing aspect of Stoop’s Paint and Sip was the artistic freedom that each person was given. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter, the point of the event was not to walk out with the most beautiful piece of art you could make, but to enjoy what the Stoop community has to offer and take advantage of an icebreaking activity to meet your neighbors and our team.
Thank you to everyone that made Stoop’s first community event successful! We hope to see new and familiar faces at our next event. Thanks to our partners at Co-Working Studio, Stoop members receive 15% off.
