You’ve been absolutely monumental in your support!
Together with our 500+ donors, we’ve enabled over 2500 migrant workers’ journey back home.
How are they traveling?
67% of the 40 vehicles used till date are Lorries, followed by buses at 25%.
We are working hard to arrange safe travels. Along with other organizations on ground, we ensure sanitization and masks for each traveler before they board the vehicle.
Migrant woes are far from over. Many are having to arrange bespoke modes of transportation. This morning, we woke up to the news of migrants in Uttar Pradesh risking lives crossing the Yamuna River holding rubber tubes to get home. A reminder that we need to keep our efforts going.
