Greetings from Southern Italy 🇮🇹! I hope many of you are enjoying some well earned time off this summer after what feels like another fast paced year in our industry.
In the spirit of taking the time to step back from the regular hustle and bustle, I’d like to share our good old fashioned State of AI Report. This work is the fruit of a collaboration with my good friend and independent angel investor, Ian Hogarth.
Together, we felt that our industry had developed to the point where a comprehensive, yet accessible, guide to recent progress in AI research, industry applications, talent and politics was needed. We hope this Report will help inform public discussion on where AI technology is at and where we might be heading in the next 12 months.
