Every monday one of the BETT–Coworkers talks about one of their treasures, something that impressed them recently, their work, their learnings or just about what’s the best pen to draw.

Sebastian Dehler is an illustrator — but also a film maker, master of improvisation, joke maker and an irreplaceable member of the core team of Bett Coworking.

For this Quickie he prepared a little workshop for us. The point of it was to create sketches in a short time out of three terms that everyone picked out of Bastis magical hat (now we finally know why he’s wearing it). We were equipped with a range of different black pens and white paper.

It turned out that it was one of the longest Quickies we ever had, once there were certain words given — e.g. gun, trumpet, sky — everyone dived deeply into their own world of ideas and associations. Even the ones, like me, who don’t consider themselves too talented, together with passionated illustrators got a nice opportunity to draw, and it worked.

Sebastian Dehler is currently in his 6th Semester of Communication Design at HTW Berlin. He loves to work with wood and is keen in finding great solutions for everyday problems.
