At some point in our lives, we all behave like the bears in the picture above. Angry. Frustrated. Sleep deprived, and sick of everything.

And mostly, such a phase arrives shortly after you become parents. The female is going through physical acceptance of becoming a mother, while the male is going through mental acceptance. For both of them, it is a big reality they need to accept as soon as possible.

As you enter parenthood, you leave behind your marriage. No, you do not leave it behind, it is left behind. Priorities change.

You tread as parents in the new life that you have created for yourself. The family you come from is no longer the priority, but the family you created is.

It is popularly said that if you do not invest in your marriage, during your parenting years, you will be left with an empty nest, and an empty marriage at the end.
