Everyone in life tells you how important it is to be successful, to be rich, to be powerful, to have contacts in the right place, to have a position in the society. There is not a day that passes by, without people around you giving unsolicited advises about what you should do and what you shouldn’t.

Especially if you’re dating someone, there will always be people who will hate the person you’re dating, your friends will tell you how ‘you’ are much better than ‘them’, and how you deserve much more.

The same happened with me when I started dating this guy, who no-one in our class really admired, because he was too straightforward, too in-your-face no-bullshit attitude and too careless to study.
