Stories I've Been Meaning to Tell You is the stories, pictures and ruminations of Andy Romanoff. Over time it has gone from tales of my young adventures to stories of a life more settled.

It’s a book filled with adventures, pleasures, pain, and a guy learning how to come down stairs the hard way. It chronicles my screwed-up years and how I survived to transition out of them. Stories... takes you along for the ride as I make a meaningful life for myself without ever turning my back on the person I'd been or the places I’d come from. Stories... is a wild tale; getting thrown out of five high schools; stealing cars and motorcycles; getting tossed in jail; finding my way into the sleazy end of the film business; being there at the invention of Gore Films; spending time with counterculture legends like Ken Kesey, The Hog Farm, and Nick Ray; then slowly learning about love, life, and death as I become a reluctant success.
