The Faces of Stories: Eva Wu
North in Focus
Eva Wu is an avid advocate for the world’s polar regions. She is extremely passionate about human health and the policies surrounding it, implementing these concerns in the non-profit organization, North in Focus, which she co-founded, and in the Arctic Council, amongst others.
She developed the idea of using storytelling in Canada’s Northern regions to advocate for health during her high school years. Since then educated, facilitated, and produced content for mental health workshops in Nunavik (Northern Quebec) and Nunatsiavut (Labrador).
She is a passionate photographer, researcher, student, and explorer. Eva is currently a second year student at McGill University studying Ecological Determinants of Health and Finance.
