Every successful token sale requires external backing from industry experts who can deliver additional value to the project. These masterminds are called advisors. However, in the booming crypto market with high competition, it is a tough task to attract prominent professionals to your side — and not all of the ways may work out as intended. Here, we share our current status with advisory board.

The initial success incentivized the already strong team to enhance its competence even further by acquiring additional expertise. With this view, Storiqa engaged a subcontractor firm to assist in search for collaboration and partnership with key advisors.

In the beginning of January two top managers from PayPal and eBay have gone due to miscommunication with subcontractor who promised to attract prominent advisors to Storiqa.

Now it is just the experience and since that time we managed to raise more than $15 million. In fact, the situation was a product of severe miscommunication from which the key lessons shall be drawn to any treaty process:

  • confirm all arrangements twice, specifically if they are made through an intermediary;
  • act quickly in community chats;
  • take necessary steps to avoid further damage.

Having already gained the image existing advisors supported Storiqa and acknowledged that they support Storiqa.

Who are the advisors now?

The described setback, however, has been more than offset by Storiqa’s successfully finished recent Asian roadshow, during which the team attracted several prominent Chinese backers.

These Asian lighthouses help to penetrate into the biggest Asian markets. With support from advisors and backers, Storiqa is approaching the hard cap. In the beginning of Q2 2018, Storiqa will launch their platform.
