Let’s take a minute to check this photo out.
Looks a bit boring and dreary as apartments go am I right? Put it this way you wouldn’t see yourself living there if you had a choice long term? What stands out to you? It needs a bit of colour a bit of life, it’s all a bit too BEIGE…
So, when you examine the colour of the food on your plate does it always look as if the dominant colour is always different shades of beige?
If you’ve answered YES… then that’s one of your biggest problems and possibly the BIGGEST thing holding you back when it comes to eating a healthy diet or having any real results when it comes to fat loss.
Foods like fries, pasta, crisps, chips, white bread, potatoes, pizza, fried rice, fried chicken
Like the room, you’d need to redecorate and add a bit of colour 🌈
With more variety, more greens 🥬 reds, purple, orange, etc you get what I mean.
Your nutritional choices should reflect your life it should be like an oil painting. Fill the canvas with as many colours as possible.
How will your canvas look when the painting is finished, will it be a celebration of colour or an unfinished masterpiece showing glimpses of potential brilliance unexplored.
You hold the paintbrush, you are the artist, it’s your canvas…..go paint
Now is your time to be BOLD try new things. Now is the time to create positive changes, Explore new foods, experiment and try new things, just like an artist finding his or hers nice. (there is no wrong way to paint!!!)
Let go of what you didn’t accomplish yesterday it’s gone and can’t be changed.
Live in the now, carpe denim….don’t wait… the next time you look at your plate remember that boring looking apartment because if you’re not prepared to live in a place like that remember it’s the same colour you’re “decorating” your body with on the inside… boring beige …
