Spotlight: The Lounge Set

Three perfect pieces so chic and comfortable you will want to wear them outside the house. And you should.

We spend a fair bit of time housebound after giving birth. Let’s set the scene: the days after having a baby are achingly beautiful, but also long, hard and completely exhausting. You’ve got visitors in and out of your house. You may be nursing round-the-clock. You may be recovering from a challenging birth (side note: birth is actually never easy). Oh, and none of your pre-pregnancy clothes fit you because, as mentioned, you are a human who just gave birth. We got to thinking about how your wardrobe could better serve your needs during this incredibly tender time.

With all the emphasis on sleep and the lack thereof, we wanted to create something useful and nice to wear, that could transition seamlessly from sleep time to nursing time to hosting family in your house time to (dare we say it) running out of the house for a coffee time (there, we said it: you can wear these clothes out of your house too, np). It would be comfortable enough to sleep in, whenever you’re able to, but legit enough that you could be seen by people you love and respect and still look pulled together.
