Mainnet Soft Launch — A New Era of Decentralized Storage
We’re excited to announce the soft launch of the mainnet app at https://storx.io, a significant milestone in our roadmap to providing a robust, secure, and scalable decentralized storage solution. The mainnet was designed to enhance user experience and broaden our service offerings. We invite our users to join this phase and contribute to the fine-tuning of our network.
Last Window for Data Migration from Legacy App
As part of the mainnet soft launch, we provided legacy users a window to migrate their data coupled with detailed guidelines from the legacy app to the mainnet. This process was designed to be smooth and secure, ensuring that your data remains safe and accessible. [more details]
Sunset of Legacy StorX App: Preparing for the Future:
As part of our mainnet roadmap, we informed our users 90 days ago that the legacy StorX platform would be heading to completely shut down. This decision marks a strategic shift to focus our resources on the advanced storx.io platform. Just as a final countdown, the legacy StorX App has been for a short period kept activated on https://legacy.storx.io. This will soon be phased off. We urge all our legacy users to complete their data migration to https://storx.io to ensure their files and accessible. After the phase out no user data can be retrieved from the StorX legacy App.
Preview of StorX Node Operators Dashboard:
StorX shares the excitement among Storage Node Operators (SNOs) with the mainnet launch. Among the array of enhancements and innovations accompanying the version release, one standout feature promises to revolutionize the SNO Storage node management experience: The upgraded dashboard (Made available to Storage Node Operators post-upgrade) will provide a holistic view of the overall performance of Storage Nodes, which includes reputation, resource consumed, bandwidth utilized, connectivity of the reputation node.

Joining StorX just got a lot easier! Users can now seamlessly sign up using their social media handles like Gmail, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter accounts. This simplifies registration and enhances connectivity by leveraging existing social media profiles. Sign up here

Evoking the true spirit of Web3 Economy. We’re excited to introduce Unstoppable Domains integration to the StorX sign-up process. Users can now register with their Unstoppable Domains, marking a transformative shift in the Web3 ecosystem. This feature empowers users with decentralized identity management, offering greater control and security over their online presence. Introducing Our New File-Sharing Feature:
In line with our goal to enhance user experience, we have introduced a new file-sharing feature, which is now available on StorX. Going one step further users can also share the file with a password, The Sharing link can have an expiry date, which adds a layer to data shared on the StorX platform. This feature allows for easier, secure file sharing directly from your storage hub. Try it out here.

One of the largest gatherings of crypto enthusiasts from North America and Europe, Consensus 2024 was a remarkable opportunity to highlight our achievements and expand our reach within the blockchain community around US markets. We showcased our advancements in DePIN and discussed strategies to further integrate these technologies into mainstream applications, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and growth.

StorX Network’s recent listing on MagicSquare Marketplace enhances visibility for StorX, bolstering its presence in the Web3 ecosystem. This partnership emphasizes StorX’s commitment to expanding its decentralized storage solutions and broadening user access through a trusted marketplace platform.
Exchange Listing Q1- Q2:
In Q2 2024, StorX Network secured a listing on LCX (regulated exchange operation in Liechtenstein) boosting accessibility and liquidity for its users. This strategic move increased trading opportunities and visibility. StorX Network was also listed on Probit, further expanding its global reach. These listings strengthen StorX’s ecosystem and demonstrate its commitment to growing its user base and promoting decentralized storage solutions.
CMC Ranking:
StorX Network's ranking on Coin Market Cap and Coingecko has significantly improved, rising from #1224 to #845(CMC) and #931(CG) in just a month. This jump indicates growing user interest and confidence, highlighting the network's increasing visibility and potential of StorX Network in the #DePIN market.
