I love books! So, upon discovering that this year’s August 9 marks National Book Lover’s Day, thanks to an informative article by Melissa Gouty I felt compelled to write something inspired by books.
Briefly, National Book Lover’s Day is a day meant to honor the power of the written word, cherished by book lovers, and calling all book lovers to come find comfort in a cozy corner with a book and relish the act of reading. Take your pick, from well-worn classics to contemporary marvels — The world of books offers everything from escape to education and enlightenment.
