Sit with me a spell, and I will tell you another tale.

One day Grandma Frog was hopping along the edge of the Enchanted River, looking for treasures and snails. She kept the snails in a snail coop by the side of her cottage for when visitors came for dinner.

Frogs eat insects such as flies and moths, but snails are a special treat.

“Grandma,” she heard while picking up a bright gold object. This is interesting she thought as she dropped it in her canvas collecting bag. “Oops, wrong bag,” she said digging through the snails and pulling out the golden treasure.

“Grandmother!”

“My darling froglets,” said Gramma Frog with a big smile. “Come here. Come to grandma.”

Ten croaking froglets started leaping over each other in excitement and slipping into the muddy river’s edge. Chaos ensued as a larger froglet knocked smaller ones off a log and two smaller frogs grabbed the offended bully by the legs and tossed him onto the river bank where he hit his head. A chorus of frantic croaking made the most annoying sound and woke up a sleeping garter snake.
