My father gave me a terrible “sex talk.” He knew plenty about sex, but he was lousy at explaining it.

He said, “The woman has a vagina. It’s like a hole. The man sticks his penis in the hole. That’s how you make a baby. Got it?”

I got it. If that was the only explanation I had for how to make a baby, I don’t think I’d have bothered with sex…
