Why Story Design?

I read a lot. Everyday. Constantly. It’s an old habit, something essential like breathing or eating. I read about tech and design, interactive storytelling, transmedia and gaming, media consumption… like I said, I read a lot and maybe too much. Now it’s time for me to write a little bit, to get these ideas that are bouncing inside my head out. Just for me and for those who enjoy new forms of storytelling techniques. I’ll try to write in English, it’ll be a good training for me and hopefuly a not so bad experience for you. Some of these articles will be thought and written in plain french, because, well you know, I’m french.

So why StoryDesign? I’m passionate about storytelling. “La narration” in french, but I’m also crazy about design, techs, and have ferocious love to create connections between these different activities. So I’ll just do that here, I’ll try to connect the dots and see if what we’re doing makes any sense at all.
