Hello, it’s Lanny again!

경주 (Gyungju) has been changing recently.
Until 10 years ago, I thought that it was a classic but boring place and so it might have just fit into a school trip.
Now, Hwangnidan-gil has been created, and a younger sensibility and old fashion have been harmoniously mingled.

The tomb of the king is called the 왕릉 (royal tomb). Some people have said that because there are many hip cafes and restaurants next to the royal tomb, it is a city where life and death coexist.
I’ll recommend a few places from now on!

<987 Pizza>
It’s a pizza restaurant with the best view of 왕릉(Wangneung, royal tomb)
Corn cheese pizza is a signature menu and it’s sweet and savory with plenty of corn!
It’s a really good place to do Pimek (pizza + beer) on the terrace.

<온천집, Onsen House>
It’s a really hot restaurant these days, but it’s because there are so many photo zones.
The reason it’s called a hot spring house is that there is a real hot spring on one side of the yard.
Take pictures while eating shabu-shabu tendon, steak bowls, etc. It’s a killing two birds with one stone!

<빛꾸리>
It is a place that sells Korean traditional rice cakes and cafes.
The owner here is said to be a Korean rice cake maker. Because there is a separate pottery that goes well with the rice cakes, it is said that all pottery is made by hand.
It’s a must-visit place!
