Hanbok (한복) is Korea’s traditional costume, which has an abundant variety of beautiful colors and styles!

These days, contemporary Hanbok (생활한복 [saeng-hwal-han-bok]) has become very popular due to its modern take on the beauty of traditional Korean clothing.

Unlike traditional Hanbok, it’s simple to wear and easy to move around in, so it’s not too much of a burden to have on casually.

In Korea, you can enter culturally revered landmarks like Gyeongbokgung Palace (경복궁) for free if you wear Hanbok!

If you visit Korea someday, why don’t you wear Hanbok and stroll through traditional Korean landmarks? It will be a very special experience!

The best way to learn Korean is to live in Korea. Don’t live there? Don’t worry. Here is the best alternative.
