It has been shown that mentoring enhances self-esteem, improves existing relationships with family and peers and leads to a greater sense of purpose and aspiration in youth. We also know that by making positive, life-changing impressions on our youth, we are shaping our community– which is why we want to get the whole community involved. When businesses (big and small), other nonprofits, and individuals band together to provide mentoring to our youth, they are building up a new generation of entrepreneurs, educators, and benefactors.”
