Live the future, while present

It’s not complicated, it’s overwhelming, it’s hard, it’s demanding.

Living in the future means sacrificing the present pleasures and deepest temptations, it means to delay that of content in the present to avoid that of displeasure in the future. It’s hard though it isn’t.

Living in the future means loving oneself, while being harsh.

It’s hard-love, a love that outmatches any in existence.

A love that is easy for the strong.

But hard for the weak.

Easy for those who seek improvement.

But not for those who seek pleasure.

For one that has faith.

But not for the disbeliever.

Trust that this love will get you far.

Much farther than those who don’t love themselves.

Love yourself harshly, and be hard on your self.

Shall you live the future, while present.
