About six months ago Story Unbound emerged on Medium. In that time, 24 writers have “unbound” 18 original story starters and “stitched” together 37 story-building responses.

SU is a collective story telling experience, unique unto this Medium space, giving readers a choose-your-own story experience and writers inspiration to tell the next chapter of any unbound story in their own way — participatory Medium fiction.

So if you will, give a few moments, review the introductory how-to and peruse the index of stories. If so moved to unbind a story starter of your own, or to stitch a response to further tell a posted story, then sign up — if not already assigned as a writer. Once an assigned writer, submit your post: Click “Edit” > the circlular … ellipsis button > “Add to publication” > Story Unbound.

Set those creative impulses free. Exercise those literary muscles. Give your writer’s heart a cardio workout. Write the story with us.
