5 Mantras for Stress Relief
“This too shall pass.”
When you’re stressed, it’s like the feeling lasts forever. Remind yourself that stress is temporary and push through. Think about past stressful situations you’ve overcome. You got through those, and you’ll get through this one too.
“I am calm and centered.”
State what you want to be to become it. Repeat this mantra to give your brain a clear instruction. Calm down. It’s a reset button on your stress response.
“I can only control my own actions.”
Stress comes from an attempt to control things that are out of our hands. Focus on what we can influence. You can’t control traffic, but you can control how you react to being stuck in it.
“I’m doing my best, and that’s enough.”
