Try the new Storyboard login experience today

Tens of thousands of users now rely on Storyboard as an audio channel for their workplace, team, or group. For our administrators and listeners, the most crucial aspect of Storyboard is the ability to deliver audio and podcasts seamlessly to a private, internal audience.

Today, we’re announcing two major updates to our platform: we’re unveiling our new Storyboard logo, and we are releasing a new upgraded login experience for listeners.

Storyboard: A new logo

On the latest Podcast on Private Podcasts (POPP), Storyboard lead product designer, Rachael Petrie said, “the new Storyboard design is meant to bring the Storyboard brand into the future. We want to serve our users as best as possible, and to do so, we want to bring them a delightful experience.”

Our brand new logo showcases our new identity: soundwaves, to emphasize that Storyboard, above all, is built to deliver audio-first solutions to teams and workplaces.

You will see this new logo on your iPhone or Android when accessing the Storyboard app, as well as on our website.

Logging In to Storyboard: Easier than ever

On top of the change to the app’s icon, an upgrade is waiting for listeners when they open their Storyboard mobile app. After spending time with our administrators and listeners, we’ve launched a new login flow for all of our listeners on iPhone and Android.

In approaching this new design, Rachael emphasized the need to match Storyboard’s best-in-class security with a simple, easy-to-use login experience:

We have optimized the log-in experience to make it quicker to listen to podcasts by your team members. To learn more about improvements that needed to be made to the log in experience, we spoke with our creators and found out there was more we could do to support them. We find feedback from our creators and listeners invaluable, so we set out to make enhancements to the log in. Some enhancements include removing steps in the log-in experience and incorporating accessibility best practices.

To get the latest upgrade, make sure to update your app to the latest version in the Apple App Store or Google Play store. After doing so, a listener will receive:

  1. A new visual design for the login experience with improved readability and accessibility;
  2. Enhanced error messages to help guide users who may be logging in for the first time;
  3. Simplified logins for returning users who have already registered as listeners in our app;
  4. In-app support access so that listeners can email Storyboard Support on command, in the event that they would like our guidance or help while getting set up;

To learn more about these changes, Storyboard’s Jeremy Lynn and Rachael Petrie chatted in our latest episode of POPP here.

We look forward to releasing several more major updates to the Storyboard platform in the coming months. If you have any questions or feedback, please get in touch with us by emailing admin@trystoryboard.com.
