Making and receiving payments on Storyhunter just got a whole lot faster, cheaper, and more straightforward. We’re excited to announce that we’ve added two of the world’s most popular digital wallets to our system: PayPal and Venmo. The best part? We’re absorbing the transfer fee so that it will be free!

New Payment Options

PayPal is one of the biggest names in online payment. Brands can use it to send money to freelancers in 111 countries, all without the hassle of converting currency. It’s also free to sign up for a PayPal account, and all you need is your email address. Production companies and freelancers can receive payouts directly to their PayPal or bank account.

Another free option is Venmo, available to users in the United States. This payment service makes it easier for businesses or freelancers to send and receive money using just their US phone numbers.

For those of you using Payoneer, don’t worry, it isn’t going anywhere. It’s a reliable digital payment service that is widely used worldwide and offers fair transfer rates.

It doesn’t end there. After all, options make us powerful. Freelancers can also select bank and wire transfers, available in 180 countries. If choosing to transfer into your bank account, you can set up your payout directly from within the Storyhunter app without the need for any third-party accounts. For international users, there are additional costs for exchanging earnings into your local currency. If you’re using a wire transfer, there may be extra fees imposed by your bank.

It’s As Easy as 1,2,3

Depending on your chosen payout method, you’ll have increased flexibility, receive your money faster, save on transfer fees, and overall the setup is easier than ever. Once logged in to Storyhunter, head to your settings and select “Payout” to get started. Then choose how you’d like to receive the money you have earned on our platform. To view available payout options, choose your country. If you’re in the United States, for example, all the options are at hand. You can add and save all the relevant payment methods, so you’re ready to go the next time you log in.
