Storyhunter Commercial DP: Vi Duc Truong (Oslo, Norway)

#DoYouFollow is Instagram’s newest IGTV Series, and they hired freelancer Vi Duc Truong to shoot the inaugural episode. Vi did an incredible job capturing the football finesse of brothers Kawan and Bawan, who have built a following on social media by posting videos of them performing trick shots and teaching others how to recreate them. It can often be a challenge to capture motion for vertical video, but Vi was up to the challenge and earned a five-star rating for his work. This was his first project on Storyhunter.

Infrastructure: The Hardest Easiest Problem
Bloomberg Law
Storyhunter Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor: Aulistar Mark (New York City, NY)

Bloomberg hired the Storyhunter Studios Post-production Unit to edit and add motion graphics to this explainer video about America’s infrastructure. Storyhunter Studios managed the production of the project and worked with Motion Graphics Designer Aulistar Mark to ensure the highest quality for Bloomberg Law. This was the first project Aulistar completed on Storyhunter, and it earned him a five-star-review and praise for his “talent and professionalism”.

New York City Climate Strike
Business Insider
Storyhunter Journalist: David Iverson (New York City, NY)

Business Insider has been very active on the Storyhunter platform lately, including their hiring of David Iverson to tackle an article about the climate strikes occurring in New York City. He was tasked with writing 500–1000 words on the event along with capturing photographs of those participating. Business Insider was also looking for interviews with some of the activists about what the event means to them. David delivered on all of the asks, earning a rating of 5 stars.

The Last Inhabitant of Argentina’s Flooded City
BBC Reel
Storyhunter Documentary Shooter: Martin Errichiello (Arequipa, Peru)

BBC Reel put up a Call for Pitches for a series that “looks at particular trends, case studies, and moments that are shaping work and life different generations across the globe”. They received 47 pitches and produced videos for 4 of them, including this one from Martin Errichiello, about a flooded city in Argentina that recently emerged from its waters. Martin did a fantastic job of capturing the destruction that the area experienced and the nostalgia that Pablo has for the place he calls home, garnering a five-star-rating from BBC Reel.
