The New Freelancer Payments Dashboard

More transparency, less stress.

August was a big month for Storyhunter users. Along with the Project Management redesign for clients, we rolled out a brand new feature for our freelancers: the Payments Dashboard. Now you can know exactly when to expect your payments and plan your finances with confidence.

Trust and Transparency

In the past, a major pain point for freelancers was planning finances around their client’s irregular payment schedule. We sought to solve that by upholding a standard of guaranteed payments within 30 days of completion. Now, we’re taking it one step further.

We’ve built a fully-transparent reporting tool for all of our freelancers that displays exact payment date, status, and amount, for every project you’ve ever done on Storyhunter. On top of that — we’ve made every payment receipt downloadable to PDF, equipped with detailed project information for record keeping and tax reporting.

Zero Worry of Lost Payment

Keeping up with a roster of freelance gigs and tracking their payments is hard work. We want you to be able to focus on what you do best, and not get bogged down trying to figure out if you ever got paid for that shoot last month.

With the Payments Dashboard, combined with our global payments solution, Payoneer, there is no need to stress. We use Payoneer because it allows us to pay over 20,000 freelancers in 180 countries. The Payment Date in your dashboard indicates the exact day when the funds from a project will be loaded into your Payoneer account. On that day, you’ll be able to transfer them to your bank account or use them on your Payoneer debit-card.

No Need to Ask Clients

Before Storyhunter, working as a freelancer meant reaching out to your client daily asking them when you can expect to be paid. Now you can skip that step and simply login to the Payments Dashboard to check the date. This makes everyone’s workflow even more streamlined, and helps you maintain a healthy and pain-free relationship with the client.
