Nature’s Source

Image by Jill Wellington from Pixabay

Moments flow into next
Continuities, time and place,
Life’s realities vividly alive,
Mindful attention as it flows
Connecting to nature’s source.

Empty streets, devoid of people,
Verdant trees still stand strong
Blooming flowers line sidewalks,
Nature is our familiar friend
Always here, soothing comfort.
