Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
Today I paid $35 to spend 4 hours watching small bands of young people — mostly girls — dance, jump, shimmy, juggle, lift and toss each other as they competed for the California All-Star Cheer leading award. My granddaughter was on one of the teams.
