Have we come
from the arms
of heaven
only to fall
at the feet
of self-
destruction?

Is this
what we call
ascension?

It is time
to find the lesson
in our scattered
ashes.

Where
does our power
bloom?
Only
in the naked
heart.
It is time
to follow
that beat
again.

Our song
is always
waiting
because the wound
does not swallow
everything:

The light
still shines above
its burning skin,
and its bleeding
can become
ascendent

if we rise
from our stagnant
perspective —
too complacent
to change —
and remember
our descendants
who will one day
take center
stage.

If not
for yourself,
then for them
you must
lay down
the might
of your ego.
Your will
to be right
must be stilled
beneath your will
to know
the truth

as you go back
to the original
wound —
the place
that scarred you
first;
The jagged
scrape
across
a clean
heart.

There is no
better time
to start —
the path
is always
waiting.

There is no
better time
to ask
what kind of world
we are creating

because now
is the time
that our dream
for the future
is finally
awaking.
