Goals in the eyes, roles in the head
roll up your sleeves, shift the gear
take your seat on the path
goals may go faint while
many walks remain left
in the way, new roles merge
with old roles and new goals
cause roles never end,
however, goals emerge and disperse
some achieved, many disappear, few survive
but roles never do so
on this path, goals turn into roles
and roles take you further for a new role
not all goals are meant to reach
maybe they are meant to disappear with rising roles
just like the rising sun shades off all light
against dark weather
only to realize its true light
it looks like moon of daylight
however, sun knows its role to
take up a new role, sometimes
as moonlight of dark times
sometimes as day of blazing shine
