I’m not entirely sure
that I want this wound to be healed
blood like flowers
I like having a second mouth
I know you think I am
stepping too far back
trying not to cover those points of light
that string the whole day along
Conversions from song into
a grief that stings with a bit of hope
into a comparison of chances
and choice
Wooden by dint of our features
modeled on the gods only know
