The Vesak Lanterns

A poem

The vibrant color beams of the tiny candlelight

inside the peaceful Vesak lantern

slowly falls to the calm stream

When the wind touches the stunning lantern,

the white colored long strips of papers start making

the continuous rustling

Though the night is overwhelmed by the darkness and silence,

the little raindrops filled the night with energy

All the tiny stars disappeared

I just saw the moon radiate a light beam

and the shadows of the Vesak lanterns

draw peaceful pictures in the mind

I am still looking at the calm candlelight inside the beautiful lantern

It lights up the restless minds and nature

Radiate the colorful beams of kindness towards the world
