Raindrop.
Then two, ten, great sheets of rain.
Glide through traffic; wipers whisper dud thunk, dud thunk.
We round the corner.
We are home now, comfy on the couch.
Tell me your life, your victories, your woes.
Tell me all about it.
And I tell you mine.
Rain has long stopped — time for me to go.
One last hug, and then, and then…
Turning the corner, a quick look back.
Grip the wheel and wonder when can I return.
