The cosmic microwave background [1] is the proof that the Big Bang is correct. So where is the explosion point of the universe? In the previous post I explained why we can see the Big Bang. If you don’t know it yet, you may read the following link.

In fact, The explosion point is on Earth!

Because the Earth is the core of the explosion from the universe, so the Earth itself is the explosion point. All the planets in the universe are also the point of explosion. The universe is so unbelievable. There is no one explosion point in the universe, it can also be said that everywhere is an explosion point. Everything in the universe is from a point of explosion.

So where is the boundary of the universe? That is, the beginning of the Big Bang when the outermost layer of things. According to the calculation is the observable universe of 46.5 billion light-years radius of the place. This boundary is not observable to our naked eye. But this boundary in 13.8 billion light years away from the place left a residual shadow. This residual shadow is the cosmic microwave background.

The cosmic microwave background took 13.8 billion years to reach Earth. And the boundary of the universe continues to expand outward, expanding to 46.5 billion light years away. This expansion is three times faster than the speed of light [2]. The outermost boundary of the universe is now 46.5 billion light years away. But this is most likely not the boundary of the universe. Because when we reach 46.5 billion light years away. We will also find 46.5 billion light years of space in front of us.

This is the equivalent of standing at the edge of the ocean and looking at the sky. When I reach the edge of the sky, there is still an endless sky ahead of me. Looking back at the ocean’s edge will become the sky’s edge. No matter how we walk, we can never get to the edge. The sky will always be 46.5 billion light years away from us. The universe is such an amazing existence.

Is the space of the universe a sphere? Like the Earth can never go to the edge? In fact, the universe is not a sphere, because the sphere has curvature. NASA measured the space in 2005 by using the principle of triangle inner angle (180 degrees). It was found that space is flat for 1 billion light years [3]. This means that the universe cannot be a sphere, but an infinitely extended plane.

The universe is so large, where is possible to reach with the future of human technology?

If mankind could one day build a spaceship with the speed of light, it would never be able to leave the Local Group of Galaxies without considering the life span of mankind. It is possible to reach the Andromeda Galaxy, which is only 2.5 million light years away from the Earth. Although the people on board are dead, it is at least possible to fly there. But it will be very difficult to fly further out. No matter how long it takes to reach, the reason is because the space in the universe is expanding at three times the speed of light.

Lightspeed spaceship left the earth at the speed of light, farther and farther from the Earth, but the space in the case of three times the speed of light expansion, so it will fly farther and farther away from the destination. But we humans do not break the physical limits of the speed of light, it is impossible to fly away from the Local Group of Galaxies. Even if we reach the Andromeda Galaxy, it is expected that the Andromeda Galaxy has merged with the Milky Way Galaxy to form the Milkomeda Galaxy [4].

If we want to achieve space travel, speed cannot solve the problem of distance traveled, but time can.

Time can be scaled down. We can adjust the time to let the actual distance traveled farther. For example, one second of light speed can travel 300,000 kilometers. But we may study to make this 1 second particularly long. If we can make my 1 second stretch to as long as your 10,000 years. Then my 1 second would not fly as little as 300,000 kilometers.

Gravity may be the answer. The heavier the gravity, the slower the time. The time scale of a black hole is much slower than the Earth, so it is possible to fly out of the Local Group of Galaxies by adjusting the time.

The scale of cosmic space is not measured in light years only, this light year has a very strange place, that is, time can be a variable. Through time and speed, we have the possibility to travel anywhere in the universe.
